About Papersmith Janitorial & Foodservice Supply

• Papersmith was founded in 1985 by Dean and Jerry Smith, and is now owned and operated by their son-in-law, Larry New.
• Larry graduated from the University of Texas (Hook 'em Horns!) with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he served eight years as an Officer in the Marine Corps where he flew and instructed in several fighters including F-4 Phantoms and A-4 Skyhawks. After the Marine Corp, he flew commercially for several major airlines (who are unfortunately no longer around) including Pan Am and Braniff. He is married to the love of his life, Paula, with whom he just celebrated his 29th wedding anniversary. They have a daughter who graduated from the University of Texas and Texas State University (MBA) and a son who's a senior attending UT.
