Shipping & Returns

 Ordering from Papersmith

  • We personally review EVERY order before your credit card is charged.
  • If your order is not 100% complete and ready to ship, we'll contact you to see what you'd like to do.
  • We DO NOT charge your credit card until your order is ready to ship! If any part of your order will be delayed AND you've approved it, we'll wait to bill your credit card until your order is ready to ship.
  • Credit card orders are accepted on-line, by fax, by phone, or in person in the store.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express (AMEX), and Discover
  • Money orders and Cashier's Checks will be accepted but your order will be held until funds are verified.
  • We accept personal checks ONLY in the store, in person with proper ID, from a local bank.
  • There is a $50.00 minimum order. (Reduced to $5.00 during our microfiber promotion).
    • Ordering over the internet is safe, easy, and totally secure. When you order from Papersmith over the internet, you connect with BigCommerce's secure server which protects your credit card and personal information.
    • Internet Explorer users should see the LOCK (secure) symbol when you check out.
    • Firefox users should see the unbroken key symbol when you check out.
    • Shortly after placing your order on-line, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of the order you entered on-line.
    • Our phone hours are from 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Central Time. Monday - Friday (except for major national holidays).
    • Voice Mail messages are accepted 24 hours each day, seven days each week. Call 1-877-392-5353. Our fax number is 1-512-392-5357.
    • When you order by mail, please be sure to include all item #'s and the full item name and price, as well as your name address, phone and e-mail (if available). Please call for shipping prior to mailing your order.
    • Outside the 48 States? Please call us for a shipping quote prior to mailing your order. You may send payment by credit card or money order.

    • Please call us Toll Free at 877-392-5353 for availability of products without "Add to cart" buttons. Chances are, they're available BUT there may be extra freight charges. We have to ship certain products freight because they're too big or heavy or hazardous for UPS or USPS. Other products have a history of being damaged by UPS and although we guarantee everything 100%, we just don't want to put our customers through the hassle of dealing with products we know will most likely be damaged by UPS or USPS!

    • We do our best to make sure everything on our website is 100% accurate. We are human, however, and will occasionally make mistakes. In the event we make a minor mistake in the text or description, we'll do our best to satisfy you but we can't give you "12 per Case" when it's an obvious typo and should be "2 per Case". Especially when there are many other references to the same exact product number on the web and they all show "2 per Case". Ever try that at "Wally World" or any of the other big box stores? They'll laugh at you. At least we will try and work something out and if that's not satisfactory, we will always allow you to return the item and refund your money.

    • United Parcel Service (UPS) is our standard method of shipment to all areas within the Continental U.S. (US48).
    • UPS cannot deliver some items like certain liquids or large heavy items. When UPS can't deliver, we use the US Postal Service, FedEx, Private Freight Companies like L.I. or others.
    • Most orders ship out via UPS the same business day (M-F) if received before Noon.
    • Most US48 addresses are in within the 2-day UPS Zone as we ship from multiple warehouses.
    • FREE SHIPPING - We pay the UPS ground shipping cost on all orders of $125 or more to destinations within the continental United States (lower 48 states).
    • There is a $7.95 shipping charge on all orders under $125 to be shipped to destinations within the continental U.S. (lower 48 states).
    • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, APO's and FPO's will be billed at the actual shipping cost. Please contact us to get the actual shipping costs. If you place an order to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, APO's or FPO's, the shipping charge on our website will not be accurate. However, we will contact you to get your approval for the actual shipping charges before we bill your credit card or ship your order.
    • Shipments going to APO's and FPO's will be shipped via the US Postal Service.
    • We do not ship to any other international destinations.


    • All of our products are designed for use in the United States. It is your responsibility to use them in compliance with all local laws. Some restrictions may apply. Not all items can be shipped by all methods or to all addresses.

    • DAMAGED shipments and/or packages which appear to be damaged should be refused at the time of delivery.

    • Return any unsatisfactory item within 20 days of the invoice date for credit to your account, exchange, or refund. After this date, the manufacturers' warranty applies.
    • You're welcome to return any purchase from our website at our store location.
    • If we delivered your order from our San Marcos location, we'll be happy to pick-up your return.
    • Returns from outside the local area should be shipped via UPS or insured Parcel Post to:

      Your name and a copy of your invoice with an explanation of what you want done with your return - for example, refund your credit card, exchange for another item, etc.
